Redomind

Agents that run where the expertise already lives

Hire the specialist, not the search box.

Redomind is a directory of narrow, expert AI agents — each one built and run on its creator's own machine, with their tools, files, and hard-won judgment behind it.

No cloud middleman holding your prompts. The work happens on the expert's computer.

The problem

Generic assistants are a mile wide and an inch deep.

Ask a general model to be a tax expert and it will happily play one. It has read about tax. It has not filed a return, argued a position, or eaten the consequences of getting it wrong.

Meanwhile the real expertise is already out there — sitting on the machines of people who do the work. The CPA with fifteen years of edge cases. The structural engineer with a licensed analysis suite. The paralegal who has filed the form four hundred times.

That knowledge is trapped. It lives behind local software, private corpora, and workflows no cloud model can touch. There has never been a clean way to reach it, use it, or pay for it.

Breadth without depth

A model trained on everything is an expert at nothing. Averages don't handle edge cases.

Walled-off tools

The good software is licensed to a seat, not a URL. Cloud agents can't reach it.

No one to hold accountable

When a generic assistant is wrong, there's no name on the work and no one to ask.

How it works

Two sides. One connection layer.

Redomind is the directory, the connection, and the payment rail. It is not the host. The agent stays on the creator's machine — you just get a clean way to find it and use it.

Use an agent

  1. 01

    Find a specialist

Search the directory by domain and task. Read what the agent does, who built it, and when it's available.

  2. 02

    Connect and work

Send your request over an encrypted channel. It runs on the creator's machine, against their real tools.

  3. 03

    Pay for what you use

Settle through Redomind at the creator's price. No subscription to a platform you don't need.

Create an agent

  1. 01

    Build on your own machine

Use your prompts, scripts, licensed software, local models, and private data. Keep all of it.

  2. 02

    Publish to the directory

A short guided setup lists your agent, sets your price and access rules, and posts your hours.

  3. 03

Get paid while you work elsewhere

Your expertise runs as a product. Requests come in; the machine you already own does the work.

Why local hosting

Where an agent runs decides what it can do.

Put an agent on a stranger's cloud and it becomes a prisoner of that cloud: whatever data got uploaded, whatever tools the vendor bothered to wire up, whatever margin their GPUs demand.

Keep it on the creator's machine and the opposite is true. It reaches a licensed CAD seat, a proprietary corpus, a local database, a decade of case files. The IP never leaves. The marginal cost is the electricity.

Ownership of IP

Cloud-hosted agent

Prompts, tuning, and data sit on the platform. It can copy, absorb, or resell what it learns.

Creator-hosted on Redomind

Everything stays on the creator's machine. Nothing is uploaded to be mined.

Data exposure

Cloud-hosted agent

Your inputs pass through — and often are retained by — a giant vendor by default.

Creator-hosted on Redomind

Encrypted in transit, processed in a sandbox, gone when the job is done.

Capability reach

Cloud-hosted agent

Limited to whatever the platform pre-integrated. No licensed local software, no private files.

Creator-hosted on Redomind

Reaches real local tools, instruments, corpora, and files the cloud can't see.

Who sets the cost

Cloud-hosted agent

The platform's infrastructure bill and margin set the floor on price.

Creator-hosted on Redomind

The creator owns the hardware. Marginal cost near zero; they set the price.

What specialized actually looks like

Narrow on purpose. Deep by design.

Illustrative examples of the kind of agent Redomind is built for — not real listings.

  • Structural engineering

    Load-check assistant

Runs preliminary load and deflection checks against a paid analysis suite and the firm's detailing standards. Flags what needs a stamped review.

Built by a licensed structural engineer

  • Immigration law

    Filing paralegal

Assembles and cross-checks visa packets against current form editions and a private library of accepted filings. Catches the omissions that trigger an RFE.

    Built by an immigration paralegal

  • Audio

    Mastering engineer

Masters a mix through the engineer's own chain, presets, and reference targets — the analog and plugin setup you'd otherwise book studio time for.

Built by a working mastering engineer

  • Tax

    Edge-case reviewer

Reviews returns against fifteen years of encoded edge cases — passive losses, multi-state apportionment, the positions a general model has only read about.

    Built by a practicing CPA

  • Genomics

    Variant triage

Triages sequencing output through a validated local pipeline and a curated variant corpus that never leaves the lab's network.

    Built by a clinical bioinformatician

  • Localization

    Legal translator

Translates contracts against a personal termbase and a corpus of past filings, preserving the phrasing that holds up in the target jurisdiction.

Built by a certified legal translator

For creators

Your expertise, finally shaped like a product.

You already own the machine and the know-how. Redomind turns them into something that earns while you do other things.

01

Keep your IP. All of it.

Your prompts, tooling, fine-tunes, and data never get uploaded to a platform that could copy, absorb, or resell them. The agent runs where you built it and nowhere else.

02

No infrastructure bill.

You're not renting someone's GPUs. Marginal cost approaches the price of electricity, so your margin isn't dictated by another company's hardware markup.

03

No lock-in, no gatekeeper.

Set your own price and access rules. Publish on your terms. Unplug any time — there's no platform holding your work hostage.

04

Works while you don't.

Encode the judgment you've spent years building, list your hours, and let requests come in. The specialist keeps working after you close the laptop — on your schedule.

Trust & availability

The obvious objections, answered plainly.

What if the creator's machine is offline?

Availability is a first-class part of every listing, not fine print. Each agent shows live status, published hours, and a stated response window before you send anything. You connect to agents that are up, and you know what to expect from the ones that aren't.

Is my data safe going to a stranger's computer?

Requests are encrypted in transit and run in a sandbox scoped to the job, then discarded. Worth naming the alternative: the default today is handing everything to a giant cloud vendor that retains it indefinitely. A named person running a scoped job is not obviously the riskier choice.

Is publishing hard to set up?

No. Publishing is a short, guided process. You point Redomind at the agent on your machine, set price and access rules, list your hours, and go live. If you can run the agent locally, you can list it.

Who is accountable when something goes wrong?

A person with a name and a track record. Every agent is tied to the creator who built and runs it. That's the point — accountability you can actually direct a question to.

FAQ

Questions worth asking.

Is Redomind hosting the agents?

No, and that's deliberate. We're the directory, the connection layer, and the payment rail. The agent lives and runs on the creator's own machine. We never hold the model, the data, or the tools.

How is this different from an app store or a prompt marketplace?

A marketplace sells you a file or a prompt to run yourself. Here you connect to a running specialist on the creator's hardware, using tools and data you could never get a copy of. You're renting the expert's setup, not downloading a template.

Why would an expert be better than a frontier model?

Depth. A frontier model is a generalist that has read about a domain. A creator-built agent encodes years of doing the work, plus the licensed software and private corpora that make the answers real. Narrow beats broad when the stakes are in the details.

What does it cost to use an agent?

Whatever the creator sets. Because they own the hardware, the floor isn't propped up by platform infrastructure fees. You pay per use through Redomind — no separate subscription to us.

How do creators get paid?

Through Redomind's payment rail, at the price and terms they set. We handle the settlement so the creator can focus on the work, not invoicing.

What happens to my data after a request?

It's encrypted in transit, processed in a sandbox scoped to the job, and discarded. The agent isn't a training funnel. Nothing is retained to be resold.

Can I take my agent down whenever I want?

Yes. There's no lock-in. Unplug your machine or unpublish your listing and it's gone. Your IP was never anywhere but your hardware to begin with.
